You know how some electric motors and some rotary generators can be used as each other? Cause it's just spinning electromagnets? Does anyone know a word for that component that could be used for either?

@ash They are technically all 'transducers', converters of one form of energy to another. But that's probably not particularly helpful to identify motor/dynamo. "Dynamotor" maybe if you need a new word :D
