@ash Subterranean?
@ash does it have to be an adjective and does it need to be classical languagey? Were it me I'd likely use a term like "the Mountain Builders" or similar
@drawshreyasdraw@dice.camp I don't think so? My others so far are "agrarian", "feudal", "arcane", "war horde" and "mechanised" the primary usage at the moment is "this is a(n) X faction."
@ash Given that context, I suggest 'artisan'?
@ash @drawshreyasdraw
I was going to suggest "monastic".
Sylvan just means related to the forest, so maybe Earthen?
@nerdparker@dice.camp yeah this is kind of where I'm at, just looking for that little bit of obfuscation that alludes to a broader aesthetic.
@ash some word based on lithosphere? Lithan?
@ash terrigenous?
@ash chthonic?
@lorenschmidt@genart.social @pwbrooks@friend.camp yeah absolutely. The issue I think is that the modern cultural associations don't quite parallel.
Elves are to "Sylvan" as Dwarves are to "???"
(Trying to come up with names that describe cultures rather than races)
