Maybe it's better to just ask more directly: Which orientation of hex grid do you prefer/find easier to use when looking things up on maps?

When you look up an item on a grid, given a numerical index eg(X,Y), do you search horizontally for the correct column before finding the row, or vertically to find the right row and then horizontally for the correct column?

Accessibility friends. If the alt text on an image isn't really adding much, ie describing non-interactive UI elements is it better to just remove it? Ie if I've got an avatar image next to a person's name, is it better to mark that up with an alt text that says "such and such's avatar" to give as much information as possible or is it better to just leave it out cause their name is the next thing anyway?

Breakthrough! Wasn't really sure it would be possible to export the output from picoSYNTH in any meaningful way, but #pico8 stepped up to the challenge. Now we've got wav-files saved on demand!

I made a walking robot. Her name is Daisy and I had a lot of fun making her.

Is it... An asshole move to put a windchime on my balcony given that it's a Swedish apartment so I have the door closed and wouldn't hear it most of the time?
