So I think we all can agree that 2016 was a pretty terrible year, but in an attempt to be positive, I think we should all put it the tag/respond to this with something(s) positive/good that happened to us this year.

2016 has been one of the beat years of my life. I finally started hrt which has been absolutely amazing, it has made me me truly myself and strengthened my relationship with myself, my partner and with those around me, I’ve started a new job at an amazing supportive friendly company, I’ve made amazing new friends, I bought a PS4 and had played some stunning games, we demoed our new game at avcon to a great reception and had a great time, I’m about to go to a full week of games and gamedev related conferences and events, we’ve played so many role-playing games and I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my GMing skills and have even made good progress on the role-playing game I’ve been developing. I am so thankful for 2016.

Aren’t people who get married embarrassed at their wedding? I would be so embarrassed at everyone looking at me and listening to me talk about how much I love the other person. I’m gonna turn to them and say why don’t you all mind your own business

Honestly? At mine I was way too caught up in how much I loved my partner and the excitement of actually getting married to notice for the most part. Plus it’s your wedding so if you are feeling silly you can just tell everyone what to do.

I am right in the group of women who were starting to think about having families when the GFC hit and thus are more likely to never have kids because they never feel secure enough but I’m gonna try real hard to fight that.
