That happens in the last year or two of school. Don’t worry. Some you keep a hold of and others drift away. Finding and nurturing friendships is a lifelong process which is sometimes easy (last few years of school) and sometimes hard (working in a job you don’t like). The best thing I’ve found it to be conscious of putting effort into nurturing your relationship with people that are good for you. That means people who make you a better person and help you live life more fully. The flip side is, you don’t have to put time and effort into relationships with people that drag you down just because one of you thinks that you’re friends.
